All blog content is authored by Torgrim Nyerrød and is the intellectual property of Torgrim Nyerrød. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes. Proprietary implementation details of Fret-o-Matic are never disclosed in post text.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialise blog content without written permission. Sharing individual posts via link is encouraged.

By posting a comment, you grant Fret-o-Matic a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your comment on the Blog. You retain ownership of your comment content.

The following are prohibited in comments:

• Spam, advertisements, or promotional content
• Harassment, abuse, hate speech, or threats
• Content that violates any applicable law
• Personal information of third parties
• Off-topic or irrelevant content

We reserve the right to remove any comment at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation.

Account creation uses OAuth sign-in via Google, Discord, or GitHub. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth account. We are not liable for unauthorised access resulting from your OAuth provider being compromised.

You may delete your account at any time via the profile panel. See our Privacy Policy for details on what happens to your data.

The Blog is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or fitness for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, Torgrim Nyerrød shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Blog.

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts.

The Fret-o-Matic Dev Blog welcomes constructive discussion from the creative and technical community. By posting a comment, you agree to the following standards of conduct:

The following content is strictly prohibited:

• Hateful, discriminatory, or dehumanising content of any kind, including content targeting individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
• Harassment, intimidation, threats, or personal attacks directed at any individual, whether a platform user or a third party.
• Sexually explicit, obscene, or graphic violent content.
• Spam, unsolicited commercial content, or repetitive posts.
• Content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Content that is unlawful under Norwegian or EEA law, or that facilitates unlawful activity.
• Misinformation or deliberately false statements presented as fact.

Enforcement: The operator reserves the right to remove any comment that violates these standards, without prior notice and without obligation to provide a reason. Users who repeatedly violate these standards, or whose single violation is sufficiently severe, risk immediate suspension or permanent deletion of their account and all associated data, without warning and without right of appeal.

The operator is the sole judge of what constitutes a violation of these standards. These policies are consistent with the norms applied by major European media outlets and online communities, and reflect the operator's commitment to maintaining a respectful and constructive environment.
